Fill up your almanac as you multiply Prime gems and factor Composite stones.

Features: 40 levels, an almanac of 100 stones, Sandbox mode, and Endless mode.

Topics: Multiplication, factorization, Common Multiples, Common Factors, logarithms, and variables.

Accessibility: Sound is optional. No time limits. Mouse-only. Strong English-reading ability is recommended.

U.S. Standards: This game covers most of common core standard 4.OA.B.4 (4th grade), 6.NS.B.4  (6th grade), introductory algebra concepts (8th grade), and logarithms (11th grade).

it's so easy to lose all your progress when leaving and coming back after a long time

Sorry about that! The save files are stored using "Unity PlayerPrefs". I do not know what causes those to be deleted. Perhaps running a cleanup program?

it isn't a cleanup program, i think it happens from the web version doing that because i use the web version

how rare would be vanillium volcanoes be, if common then you can extract the 11 stones from them and then 11 stones would be common without needing to find them (chillium would also be common if vanillium volcanoes are common)

here's some advice to dividing by 5, first remove the last digit if it's a 5 or a 0 then divide it by 5 so it's a 1 or a 0 respectively then multiply the number you got by removing the last digit by 2 then add the number you got, then you have the same number divided by 5

ahh, yes, combining a warm stone with a stone normally used for decoration makes a stone which is also used for decoration and thrown into the sea (2*29=58), why isn't 58-stone warm

i have a lifelong obsession over mathematics so im just pretending to talk to them like im a professional lol

i think im going insane im way too immersed in this roleplay

review

i loved it. every second of it. people should use this as a more intuitive way to understand factorization, however sometimes the shape (especially for 17 and 85) can give info away at later stages. amazing though.

stone names

1. call 37 comonium, in reference to it being the most common number picked by humans at "random"

2. call 67 parallax (vibes)

3. call 68 spikeball/flailium (in reference to the flail, a weapon)

for 53 stone it can be called "time stone"

currently i lag a lot

for 36-stone you can name it "hearthrock (2-meld)" in reference to 58-stone,  slime stone (2-meld)

Good point. Hopefully one day I'll flesh out the lore to add more story and flavor text to Strategems (the sequel). Then I'll do a big update to the old almanac here.

Strategems is a good game, i have played some of it
EDIT: actually you can try "bulbstone (2-melded)" for 36-stone because 18*2=36

Hi, did you mean the 4th part of the fourth level? It does appear there's a strange glitch there. I'll try to fix it ASAP.

Okay are you certain it is impossible?Have you tried the answers 1, 1-and-a-half, 2? [edit: It is working okay on my browser.]

i was getting 27 wrong but currently i have 100% completion and the 4th part of the fourth level is possible

I think we both just made a math mistake. All levels are possible. The fourth part of level 2 will require a fraction. Keep in mind that the log base is 9, not 3. [Rot13: The answers are bar, bar-naq-n-unys, naq gjb.]

log base 9 of 2 (or log_9(2)) is about 0.315464876786...

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it! I'm currently working an adventure/card game set in the same universe, though it could take a while.

I'm already excited!!!  Have a great day.
