v1.19
Strategems » Devlog
- New 13 effect (previously: siphon opponent's leftover energy and see their hand)
- New, harder puzzle 3
- Added a "Sandbox" level (the opponent does nothing and it doesn't count towards wins/losses/etc)
- Negatives can now be factored.
- 53-stone now travels 2 turns (1 turn for both players). Adjusted 53 fight.
- Trying out a new deckbuilding GUI.
- 29-stone effect clarified ("...when played")
- Various bug and text fixes. ("I check if large composites are prime"?!)

been away for a while, and today I randomly check back to see that sandbox gets added. these few days I got way too immersed in chess ultimate. probs gonna take a while to get this back on my mind again (I spent so long trying to do a few simple tests, and now that it's finally been made easy, I feel kinda weird for not immediately rushing back to do it after all that complaining I did)
nvm, this sandbox mode doesn't seem particularly good for getting big energy
I use the itch desktop app, and after installing this update for Strategems, it no longer launches the game correctly. It just opens the containing folder. I’m not sure what’s going on, as it launched fine before the update.
Deleting the folder with the old version seems to fix it, and my save data is even retained. But if you know of a way to avoid the need for this manual fix after an update, that would be great.
The 13 change caught me off-guard. I was just playing M1 and I was like "wtf 13s have a new effect exclusive to here???" and I checked the deckbuilding GUI and it changed alot so I scrolled down and got jumpscared by an unexpected update
